This workshop will build on foundational knowledge and incorporate clinical considerations and specific interventions for treating someone with borderline personality disorder (BPD).

A diagnosis of BPD is one of the most complex and clinically challenging ones within the realm of personality disorders and mental health conditions. This workshop will explore the link between trauma and psychosocial factors within individuals diagnosed with BPD.

 Some of the key issues discussed will include: setting boundaries, splitting, pharmacology, and various treatment options. 

Participants will be able to identify the best treatment modalities for treating someone with BPD. This is an interactive workshop with ample opportunity for learning through case conceptualization and small group activities and discussions. 


Target Audience: Social Workers, LCPCs, Psychologists, and anyone interested in the topic.
