CRS Phone Counselor
Full time and Onsite
Schedule: Overnight Shift
The Mental Health Phone Counselor is responsible for providing phone support and resources to clients who call the “Warmline”. Primarily the support results in linkage to mental health services that are provided daily (24 hours).
The Phone Counselor receives all incoming telephone calls, elicits essential information from caller, and determines the immediacy and type of response needed. Phone Counselors are responsible for documenting both incoming and outgoing phone calls, as well as documenting resources and any authorizations given in an effort to help callers obtain services.
Phone Counselors assist clients, identified as at risk for hospitalization, in obtaining urgent care appointments and arranging transportation, if needed.
Key Responsibilities
• Answers the phone, offering support while providing active listening and appropriate responses
• Provides linkage resources and documents offered referrals
• Provides credible written summaries of phone calls
• Assesses the need for intervention by the CIT or MCT and communicates with Teams to provide case summaries for dispatch purposes
• Provides follow-up calls to determine client progress and needs
• Communicates effectively with callers to diffuse crisis situations
• Obtains authorizations for needed client services
• Provides support for clients and to OPS team members through case debriefings with Team
• Completes all required trainings on or before due date
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
• Master’s Degree with license in Social Work, Psychology or related field and a minimum of three (3) years related experience
• LCPC or LCSW-C preferred
• Knowledge of local and county resources, preferred

Quality Assurance Manager

This position works under the supervision of the Clinical Services Director and is primarily responsible for ensuring that clinical services and administrative processes meet regulatory, accreditation, and safety standards.
The Quality Assurance Manager (QAM) drives continuous improvement by auditing, managing risk, analyzing data, and updating policies to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency, both for clinical situations and operational and administrative areas.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
• Regulatory Compliance & Accreditation: Ensure adherence to CARF, HIPAA, state health department, and other accrediting bodies (e.g., Joint Commission) standards, licensure and Medical Assistance regulations.
• Quality Improvement Initiatives: Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance plans and policies, identifying gaps or potential problems, and making recommendations to senior staff for continued improvement.
• Auditing and Data Analysis: Perform audits on clinical records, patient care plans, and administrative processes (like patient access/billing/adherence to policies) to ensure data integrity and identify risk. Manage Programs that are on Corrective Action Plans (CAP)to ensure compliance with the CAP’s. Coordinate with the Behavioral Health Administration (BHA) and the Administrative Service Organization (ASO)on state and ASO audits.
• Complaints: Investigate and address complaints from individuals, family members, providers, the BHA and the ASO. Submit complaint reports as necessary
• Performance Monitoring: Track and report on quality metrics to leadership, recommending, and implementing corrective actions based on data.
• Staff Education & Training: Train clinical and administrative staff on new procedures, compliance updates, and best practices.
• Quality Assurance/Risk Management:
o Analyzes and evaluates patient/staff/provider incident reports and reports to BHA
o Manages all complaints according to policy.
o Prepares monthly risk assessments for presentation to the Board of Directors on Risk activities
Qualifications & Abilities
• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN), or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Health Administration, or a related field;
• Experience: Generally, 3-5+ years of experience in healthcare, with at least 1-3 years in a leadership or quality role.
• Certifications: Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) is highly desirable.
• Licensure: Master’s level license, independently licensed required
• Skills: Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Qualifax (Credible) Meditech), Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis tools.
Salary - $103,000.00 to $126,000.00.
Salary is commensurate with education, credentials and experience.

Full Time Position Available
The position addresses professional and administrative duties necessary for the efficient use of services by engaging with community agencies and care providers on the client’s behalf to help link clients to community resources and follow-up care.
In addition, services include obtaining support for housing benefits and working with OPS counselors to provide needed medication support. Further, this position has ongoing interactions with OPS staff, the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT), and the Mobile Crisis Team (MCT) to ensure support for services to address client needs.
