Mental Health – Mobile Crisis Team

Seeking Independently Licensed MH Clinicians, LCPC/LCSW-C and Licensed Mental Health Clinicians, LMSW/LGPC for full time, part time or on call positions with Anne Arundel County Mobile Crisis Team. 

Looking for qualified clinicians to fill all shifts, 7am – midnight weekend shifts, 4pm – midnight weeknights and 6pm -10pm weeknights.  Must be available to work some holidays.

Spanish speaking a plus. Prior CRISIS experience preferred.

Part time or On Call – Weekends only positions available-all shifts.

Seeking Independently Licensed MH Clinicians, LCPC/LCSW-C and Licensed Mental Health Clinicians, LGSW/LGPC for on call – weekends only positions (all shifts) with Anne Arundel County Mobile Crisis Team. 

The work of Mobile Crisis Team Clinicians is accomplished in a two-member team that pairs two licensed clinicians (one independently licensed clinician and a master’s level clinician or intern.

Mobile Crisis Team Clinicians provide acute crisis response, as well as critical case management, to prevent crises from occurring and to help stabilize crises.  The Mobile Crisis Team Clinician works to assess and treat individuals with mental, emotional or substance abuse problems.

Mobile Crisis Team services include crisis intervention, stabilization visits, case management, client advocacy, crisis prevention and incident diffusion, client stabilization and client education.

This employee interacts regularly with the Operation Center (Phone Counselors) staff, the Crisis Intervention Team and Care Coordinators to address client needs.

Must be available to work some holidays. Spanish speaking a plus. Prior Crisis experience preferred.

Social Worker- Bilingual Spanish and English

Statewide Alternative Living Unit Specialist - Full-Time 

 Anne Arundel County Mental Health Agency is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented self-starter with ability to prioritize multiple tasks, including, but not limited to providing general support to synchronize care of clients with multiple medical comorbidities and/or co-occurring substance use disorders who utilize the public health behavioral health system.

This position addresses professional and administrative duties necessary for the efficient use of services by engaging with community agencies and care providers on the client’s behalf to help link clients to community resources and follow-up care.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • providing direction and guidance to individuals, contract providers and allied agencies to assure alignment with the State’s mission and desired outcomes
  • administering transitioning of state hospital clients into Alternative Living Units.

An important aspect of the position is the ability to provide professional and knowledgeable representation to external agencies, preparing reports and keeping well-organized records using a computer.  Intra-state travel required.

  Minimum requirements:

• Must be fluent in writing and speaking Spanish

• Five (5) years of related work experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field

• Valid Driver’s License required

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting

• Strong organizational and computer skills

• Proficiency in written and oral communication – English and Spanish

• Professional demeanor
