The Addiction and Recovery Conference is a yearly collaboration between Maryland’s Certified Peer Recovery Specialists and Behavioral Health Providers to share resources and information to better serve our communities. The presenters will share how addiction and recovery is impacting youth, adults, and ways to incorporate tools for prevention and harm reduction into your practice.
Learning Objectives:
1.Develop an understanding of the partnership between Certified Peer Recovery Specialists and Behavioral Health Providers assisting persons seeking support and treatment for addiction and mental health disorders.
2.Through person-centered care, learn new approaches to address recovery, empowerment, and self-wellness achievements.
3.Gain knowledge of how growth and collaborative development is benefitting Maryland’s Behavioral Health systems from agencies and organizations throughout the State.
