This three-hour virtual training will provide a comprehensive examination of maternal mental health with a specific focus on suicide prevention and the unique factors that distinguish maternal mental health from general adult mental health. Suicide remains a leading cause of death during the perinatal and postpartum periods, yet maternal mental health concerns are frequently underrecognized, underdiagnosed, and undertreated.
