6 CEs
This interactive, 6-hour training invites social workers to explore the full breadth of human sexuality, beyond behavior and identity, through a client-centered, trauma-informed, and ethically grounded lens.
Participants will engage in experiential activities that examine sexual development across the lifespan, the cultural and emotional weight of sexual language, and the pervasive sexualization within society. Throughout the days’ activities, attendees will deepen their ability to support clients in reclaiming bodily autonomy, setting values-aligned boundaries, and navigating the lasting impacts of trauma.
Rooted in the NASW Code of Ethics and emphasizing cultural humility, this training equips professionals with practical tools and critical insight to affirm clients’ dignity, healing, and capacity for connection across diverse identities and experiences.
