This 3-hour interactive training explores the unique challenges and opportunities in providing clinical and case management services to mandated clients. Participants will examine the dynamics of coercion and motivation, learn engagement strategies that foster client autonomy, and explore ethical dilemmas commonly encountered when balancing legal mandates with professional values.
Through case examples, discussion, and skill practice, participants will develop culturally responsive approaches to enhance therapeutic alliance and treatment outcomes in mandated care settings.
