This essential component of social work practice is best communicated through the rapport building process and establishment of an informed consent.
The workshop will explore these ethical topics: Informed Consent, Rights of Minors, Establishment of a Social Media Policy, Confidentiality of Mental Health information, the use of Artificial Intelligence in practice, Teletherapy, and Reporting Harm and Maltreatment Requirements.
The presenter served on the national committee to revise the new NASW Confidentiality and Information Utilization Issue Statement and will include an overview of these national confidentiality standards.
