This is part of an Engage with® Older Adults Skills Training Program held in December 2024.
This program has been approved by the Maryland State Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists to satisfy Category A continuing education requirements AND is an approved CE provider with the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program.
This 2-hour program provides critical training that will help you understand and better respond to the unique mental health and cognitive impairment issues impacting the older adult population. You'll learn the signs and symptoms of each common disorder and common coping strategies to support the older adult.
The Engage with® Older Adults Skills Training Program is designed to provide direct care workers with a comprehensive skill set that elevates their empathy, respect, and communication skills, making them compassionate allies to the older adults they work with.
