Free 2-day CARE Training Program for Parents and Caregivers (Registration Closes July 12th)

Text Mental Health Association of Maryland and The Care program-Caregiver Advocacy and Resiliebcy Experience

Do you know a parent or caregiver seeking support for their child with mental health needs?

The CARE Program is hosted by the Mental Health Association of Maryland. This free two-day training program equips parents and caregivers with the skills to become better advocates for their child and all youth with specific needs.

Participants will gain:

Tools for leadership and advocacy

Strategies for working with schools

Self-care practices for caregivers

 

Meals, accommodations, and stipends for travel/childcare are provided. 

 

Friday, August 15th at 5:00 PM, through Saturday, August 16th at 4:00 PM

Location: Central Maryland near BWI, with specific address

given to accepted applicants.

Deadline to apply: Saturday, July 12th
