Free Webinar: Uplifting and Supporting LGBTQ Youth

Children's Mental Health Matters! (A Maryland Public Awareness Campaign) is hosting a free webinar, Uplifting and Supporting LGBTQ Youth.

This webinar will highlight and address challenges faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth. Coming from a strengths-based perspective, this session will seek to highlight both the real risks and concerns facing LGBTQ youth today as well as positive messaging and concrete ways to support LGBTQ youth.

About the Speaker: Aidan L. Grennell Cormier (they/them/theirs) is a trans, non-binary public health social worker in Baltimore, Maryland. They work as a harm reduction coordinator and trainer for the Maryland Harm Reduction Training Institute. Additionally, they work with ENBY consulting on a number of projects centered on supporting the needs to LGBTQ peoples from an intersectional and decolonized perspective. Aidan works with a variety of different organizations and populations, but mostly focuses on providers, clinicians, medical and mental health professionals, and peer support staff.
