This continuing education course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to foster a supportive and inclusive workplace environment and promote a well-being culture. This course goes beyond theoretical knowledge, emphasizing practical application and personal development to empower participants in actively contributing to a workplace culture that values and prioritizes mental health and well-being.
Learning Objectives:
Identifying and defining mental health stigmas;
Applying strategies to foster a stigma-free environment;
Developing skills for recognizing behaviors that may indicate mental health concerns in their colleagues, enabling early intervention and support;
Constructing a well-being action plan and evidence-based practices to enhance mental health in the workplace; and
Assessing, comparing, and critiquing the effectiveness of various well-being initiatives, ensuring a depth of understanding in implementing sustainable mental health practices within their organizational context.
Target Audience and Course Delivery: This includes, but is not limited to, Psychologists, Social Workers, Counselors, and other mental health professionals. The instructional level of the activity is advanced.
