This program has been approved by the Maryland State Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists to satisfy Category A continuing education requirements AND is an approved CE provider with the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program.
This 2-hour program provides critical training that will help you understand how the aging brain is impacted by common drugs (both illicit and prescribed). You'll learn the signs and symptoms of substance use disorder and how to best support the older adult.
The Engage with® Older Adults Skills Training Program is designed to provide direct care workers with a comprehensive skill set that elevates their empathy, respect, and communication skills, making them compassionate allies to the older adults they work with.
