The purpose of this conference is to increase the participants’ understanding of current issues in the field of mental health and substance use disorders. This year’s conference topics include: cultural humility, high-potency cannabis, the Opioid Overdose Restitution Funds, harm reduction policies, smoking and vaping, recovery housing, and problem gambling.
Other topics that will be covered include: NCADD advocacy training, updates from the Behavioral
Health Administration, peer integration for better outcomes, PTSD and Addiction, Nature-Informed Therapy.

Participants will receive six (6) CEUs for attendance for the following disciplines: Certified Addiction Counselors, Dentists, EAPs, Social Workers, Professional Counselors, Peer Recovery Specialists, and Psychologists.
