"Nurturing the Nurturers" is a dynamic workshop designed specifically for social workers to address the critical need for self-care. Through interactive sessions, participants will explore practical strategies to maintain their well-being, manage stress, and prevent burnout.
Learning Objectives:
Understand the impact of stress by gaining insights into how prolonged exposure to stress affects personal and professional life.
Develop personal self-care plans using customized strategies for mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
Learn effective stress-reduction techniques, including mindfulness, relaxation exercises, and other tools to manage stress.
Identify how to build a supportive network through sharing experiences and building connections with peers to foster a community of mutual support.
