Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) is a 1.5 virtual suicide prevention training program designed to empower individuals to recognize the warning signs of suicide, engage in conversation, and effectively connect individuals in crisis to appropriate help.

The primary objective of QPR is to equip participants with the skills and confidence to intervene when they encounter someone exhibiting suicidal thoughts or behaviors.

QPR training follows a structured and practical approach to suicide prevention, emphasizing the importance of three key actions: questioning, persuading, and referring. The training aims to break down the stigma surrounding suicide, providing participants with the knowledge and tools necessary to engage in open and non-judgmental conversations about mental health.

By teaching participants how to recognize warning signs and communicate effectively, QPR creates a supportive community that can actively contribute to suicide prevention efforts.
