This three-hour interactive training equips mental health professionals with foundational knowledge to recognize and respond to eating disorders across diverse populations. Participants will learn to identify early warning signs, assess risk, and make appropriate referrals, without assuming the role of a specialist.
The session explores all DSM-5 feeding and eating disorders, associated medical and psychological complications, and the systemic effects of diet culture and weight stigma. Clinicians will gain practical tools to support clients in developing more compassionate relationships with food and their bodies while connecting them to specialized care.
