The Addiction and Recovery Conference is an annual Behavioral Health Provider and Peer Support Specialist collaboration. 

Participants will explore strategies to identify, encourage, and build harm reduction approaches. The 2nd session will offer a glimpse into Maryland’s strategies for assisting local residents in addressing the persistent drug crisis. Additionally, attendees will investigate peer workforce development, problem gambling and how domestic violence impacts families.


Learning Objectives:
Learn new approaches to address recovery, empowerment, and self-wellness achievements through harm reduction systems
Discover what the Maryland Office of Overdose Response is working on to control the drug crisis
Gain knowledge of how peer growth and collaborative development will benefit the system and Maryland’s Certified Peer Recovery Specialist throughout Maryland
Learn how gambling addiction and domestic violence can intersect
