Presenters:

1) Stacey Owens. MSW, LCSW-C is the Military and Veterans Affairs Liaison for SAMHSA. She is honored to have the opportunity to facilitate collaborative efforts to improve the mental health of our nation’s Service Members, Veterans, and their Families (SMVF). She has more than 20 years of experience in various healthcare and social service settings; prior to joining SAMHSA she served the SMVF population as a clinical social worker at the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Department of Defense.

2) Greg Crawford has served as a Public Health Advisor with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMSHA) for the past year.  He comes from the National Institute of Corrections (NIC) in Washington, DC where he spent the previous 11 years as a Correctional Program Specialist. In addition to his NIC experience, he spent 11 years in Pierce and King County, Washington at local misdemeanant probation departments serving as a probation officer, supervisor, manager and director, along with three years at a community-based mental health center.
