3 Supervision CEs
Maintaining current knowledge of the social work licensing laws and regulations is the ethical responsibility of every social worker, and for supervisors this is an essential element of supervision. Maryland law and regulations define the scope of practice for the different licensing categories and their ethical responsibilities and expectations. This workshop will review the licensing process and important licensing provisions and identify how they impact practice, applicants with various social services experience, and licensees.
*Please note: Participants are encouraged to refer to the website of the Board of Social Work Examiners for the most current and detailed information regarding social work licensing. https://health.maryland.gov/bswe/Pages/default.aspx
