The Mental Health Association of Maryland and speaker Frank Kros will be touring Maryland to empower adults who guide and nurture children by equipping them with practical and powerful skills to shape resilient minds. 

These free events will be held at six locations across Maryland

Session 1: Becoming a Mental Health Sleuth: How Educational Professionals Can Skillfully Assess and Manage Student Mental Health Issues – 2:30-5:00PM 
This workshop equips non-diagnosing professionals like educators and coaches with the skills to identify common mental health issues in children. Learn to recognize signs of depression, anxiety, and more.

Session 2: Anxious & Depressed: Effective Support Strategies Every Helping Adult Can Provide from 6:00-8:00PM 
This workshop offers valuable insights into anxiety and depression, equipping participants with practical, effective, and safe strategies to support the children and adolescents in your life.
