Beyond the Bet: Advanced Clinical Approaches to Gambling Disorder expands upon foundational knowledge of gambling disorder by introducing clinicians to a deeper set of advanced therapeutic strategies and long term support approaches. Building on core concepts and assessment practices, this session emphasizes how practitioners can tailor interventions to the diverse needs, motivations, and stages of readiness for change. Through case examples, practitioners learn how to adapt and individualize these approaches to effectively meet clients wherever they are in the recovery process.

Discuss essential components of maintaining therapeutic engagement such as relapse‑prevention planning, ancillary supports, and building protective routines.
Explore strategies clinicians can implement to foster resilience, reinforce recovery capital, and support meaningful sustained behavioral change.
