3 Supervision CEs
Clinical supervision is a critical component of ethical, effective, and high-quality behavioral health care. Supervisors play a central role in the social workers’ professional development by fostering reflective practice, strengthening clinical reasoning, and promoting adherence to best practices. Effective supervision not only supports skill acquisition but also cultivates professional identity, accountability, and ethical decision-making.
This workshop is designed to enhance supervisors’ capacity to guide and influence supervisees toward competent and confident clinical practice. Participants will explore evidence-informed supervisory approaches that promote critical thinking, support clinical growth, and address complex challenges in behavioral health settings. Emphasis will be placed on the supervisory relationship as a vehicle for learning, including the use of feedback, reflective dialogue, and intentional skill-building strategies.
