3 CES

This three-hour interactive workshop introduces healing practitioners to what it means to identify and interrupt intergenerational cycles within the therapeutic process. Participants will explore how trauma, attachment patterns, survival strategies, and family narratives can be transmitted across generations, and how these patterns may be amplified by systemic stressors, such as racism, poverty, and other forms of oppression.

Through didactic teaching, case reflection, and experiential practices, practitioners will learn trauma-informed and culturally responsive ways to support clients in naming inherited burdens, strengthening protective resources, and creating new relational choices. The workshop also emphasizes practitioner self-awareness, ethics, and pacing so this work is done with care, consent, and respect for cultural lineage.
