Providing Affirming Care for Sexual and Gender Minority (LGBTQ) Communities is a one-day virtual learning experience designed to provide healthcare professionals with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to promote the well-being of their sexual and gender minority patients.

Instructors are nationally recognized expert clinicians who primarily serve these populations in their practice.  During this accredited symposium, participants will gather clinical insights and best practices for delivering affirming care and for building a welcoming environment that honors sexual and gender minority patients. Sessions build from beginner level to advanced, appropriate for both seasoned professionals in the field and new providers unfamiliar with unique care needs of the LGBTQ community.
