What does the term “high-conflict” mean? We see it being used to describe couples in couples therapy, some of whom may go onto have a divorce similarly categorized as “high-conflict.” How do we know when that term is being misapplied to a situation of domestic abuse/covert narcissistic abuse or post-separation abuse? What are the implications for how we do our work?
This training is appropriate for anyone who does family therapy, couples therapy, and child therapy; and those currently acting as or interested in becoming a parenting coordinator, custody evaluator, etc.
This training is of interest to those who want to learn more about narcissism and narcissistic abuse as well. Topics specific to 2SLGBTQ+ survivors will be included.
